Larousse launches online dictionary

PUBLISHER of the famous encyclopaedia, Larousse, has launched a free online dictionary that offers French language help, but also translation in a number of other languages.

English and French is available, as well as Spanish, German and Italian with results quick to be returned, and grammar points featured as well.

A particularly useful element is the opportunity to hear the pronunciation of words, just click on the small, blue speaker graphic to listen.

I like that you can hear the pronounciation of the words, it's really useful. For translation of vocabulary I also like to use http://www.wordreference.com/. There is also a forum on there where you can ask questions about particular word usage and native French speakers or others can help answer
